Privacy Notice
We collect personal data in one place only: the enquiry form on this site. This notice explains what we do with it, how long we keep it, and how to ask us to delete it.

Who we are
The Holistic Learning Initiative is delivered by [REGISTERED ENTITY NAME], registered at [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. For the purposes of UK data protection law, that organisation is the data controller for this website. You can reach us at info@hli.org.uk.
What we collect
When you use the enquiry form, we collect:
- your name;
- your email address;
- your school, institution or organisation, if you choose to give it;
- the type of enquiry you select;
- the message you write.
We do not collect this information from anywhere else, and we do not buy contact data or add you to any list you have not asked to join.
Why we hold it, and on what basis
We hold it to answer your enquiry and, where you have asked us to, to send you the Concept Document or arrange a conversation about your school. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: you have contacted a professional organisation about its work, and replying to you is the reason the form exists. Where we send you anything beyond a reply to your own enquiry, we ask for your consent first and you can withdraw it at any time.
Who sees it
Members of the HLI team who handle enquiries. We do not sell your details, share them with other schools or organisations, or pass them to advertisers. The site is hosted on our behalf by our hosting provider, which stores the data on its servers in the course of running the site. No analytics, advertising or social media trackers run on this site.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for [RETENTION PERIOD, e.g. 24 months] from your last contact with us, after which they are deleted. If you ask us to delete your enquiry sooner, we will.
Cookies
This site sets two cookies, and neither tracks you. One is a standard PHP session cookie needed for the site to function. The other remembers your appearance preference if you change it. There is no advertising or analytics cookie, which is why you are not seeing a consent banner.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to our holding it. Email info@hli.org.uk and we will respond within one month.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you came to us first, but it is your right either way.
Children
This site is for school leaders, educators and partner organisations. It is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Where a school adopts the framework, pupil data is governed by the agreement between us and that school, not by this notice.
Changes
If we change how we handle enquiries, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
